2023 Bike Month

In 2023 one of TREAD’s partners, the Chelan Douglas Transporation Council (CDTC) decided to take it upon themselves to bring official Bike Month events to the Wenatchee Valley. TREAD jumped at the opportunity to get more folks on bikes and to promote the use of active transportation and the overall well-being of our community. CDTC and TREAD worked with partners including Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance, LINK Transit, CAFÉ, Sustainable NCW, Wenatchee Valley Velo, the City of Wenatchee, and WSDOT.

Events Included:

• Procalmation of Bike Month by the Wenatchee and East Wenatchee City Councils

• Wenatchee Valley Bike Rodeo: Bike Skills & Safety Extravaganza

• Cycle the City: Community Bike Ride
