Celebrate National Trails Day with the Bureau of Land Management and Team Naturaleza at Douglas Creek Canyon!

We will be meeting at the TREAD office on Saturday, June 3rd at 8:00am for breakfast snacks and drinks and then carpooling to Douglas Creek Canyon. If you have a vehicle, please bring it to the TREAD office - we would greatly appreciate it if folks with vehicles can offer to give other volunteers a ride to the work party at Douglas Creek. You can park in the Lower Lot by Saddlerock Pub/Arlberg or at the Conference Center. At the TREAD office we will coordinate carpooling from Wenatchee to Douglas Creek Canyon.

*The TREAD office is located at 25 N Wenatchee Ave Suite 233 (directly above Arlberg Sports). Please enter the building from Columbia Street (to the left of the main door to Saddlerock Pub. Walk straight through to the elevator next to the Mission Ridge Ski Race Team office. Take the elevator to the 2nd floor and follow signs to the TREAD office across the hallway from the SCJ office.

For the trail work event we will be removing invasive plants and cutting back brush from the side of the trail. Expect hot temperatures and trail hiking for 2-4 miles.

Tools and instruction will be provided. Please wear appropriate work or hiking clothing, boots or sturdy shoes, a small backpack, water bottle, and lunch.

Please email volunteer@tread-cw.com if you have any questions.
